What does an authorisation holder do?
The authorisation holder applies for the authorisation, maintains it, owns the product information, reports adverse reactions to Swissmedic and keeps the product available. Under Art. 10 TPA it must have a registered office in Switzerland.
Can an authorisation be transferred?
Yes. The transfer of an authorisation to a new holder is notified to Swissmedic and carries a fee. Product information, packaging material and pharmacovigilance responsibility transfer with it.
Does the directory replace the product information?
No. We show regulatory facts: authorisation number, dispensing category, ATC code, authorisation holder, strengths and pack sizes. For indication, dosing and warnings only the product information approved by Swissmedic on swissmedicinfo.ch is binding.
Start with a short conversation
Send your email, phone number and a short message. We will clarify your product, current approvals, target timing and partner requirements in the follow-up. Any introduction to an external provider is agreed with you first.
